Kandola’s dream of packing & farming began in 1988 in Livingston, California, on the principle of providing markets and stores with an innovative customer driven company capable of producing quality sweet potatoes.  Kandola Farms Produce has succeeded and continues to achieve consistent growth. The growth has been achieved by listening to what our customers want and by anticipating what they will need in the future. By maintaining this strategy Kandola Farms Produce has been able to provide the highest quality sweet potatoes and more recently, organic sweet potatoes, to its customers.

The farm is family owned by Amarjit Kandola and son. Amarjit Kandola left farming with nothing to his name and $20 in his pocket back in 1982 to come work in the states and ambition to seek his dream. It took 6 years before he was able to purchase his first 36 acres of farm land in Livingston, CA. With his brother, they started Kandola Brothers and started farming sweet potatoes; one of the most labor-intensive crops grown in California. By 2005, the brothers had 300 acres. In 2017, the packing shed “Kandola Farms Produce” was founded by Amarjit and Son and can store, pack & ship it’s own product. Kandola Farms is now 850 acres managed across Livingston, Cressey & Stevinson, California by Amarjit Kandola while the packing shed “Kandola Farms Produce” is organized and managed by his son, Amarpreet or “Pete” Kandola.

Some of Kandola's accomplishments are as follows:

1982 – Amarjit Kandola left farming India to come work in the states

1988 – Purchased first 36 acres of farm land in Livingston, Ca

2005 – Managed 300 acres of farm land in Livingston, Ca

2017 – Kandola Farms Produce, INC is founded. Packing, Storing & Shipping of sweet potatoes.

2018 – Organix Sweet Potatoes (Organic Sweets) was started; CCOF Certified

2023 – Currently managing 850 acres of farm land across Livingston, Cressey & Stevinson, Ca.
